These general terms and conditions of delivery are relating to Hotel Hyvinkää Oy, (hereinafter Quality Hotel Sveitsi) business ID: 33686811, gift cards booked from the website, purchased from the hotels or invoiced from the customer. These general terms of delivery are enforced in the contractual relation between the gift card buyer and Quality Hotel Sveitsi. The buyer and the recipient can be the same person. Quality Hotel Sveitsi has all rights to cancel the order or recall the trade if the terms of contract have been violated.

Special terms for each product

The terms and conditions and the special conditions of every product are described in the product page. Both the general terms and conditions and the special conditions are enforced. If there is a disagreement between the special and the general terms and conditions, the special terms are enforced.

Buying process

The buyer purchases a gift card from Quality Hotel Sveitsi gift card shop. Quality Hotel Sveitsi will send an order confirmation to the buyer’s e-mail address. Delivery charge is added depending on the shipping method. The amount of delivery charge is notified when choosing the shipping method. When buying a gift card the buyer accepts the current terms and conditions as well as special terms. When using the gift card the user accepts the terms and conditions and special terms that were in force by the time of purchase. Quality Hotel Sveitsi will deliver the special terms and information about the general terms and conditions to the buyer.

Gift card content

Valid gift cards are eligible means of payment for the mentioned product and for the products of the mentioned service provider. The content of the product or service has been described in the Quality Hotel Sveitsi online store. Validity of a gift card

Gift card’s period of validity is until the date mentioned in the card. The gift card is valid 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. The product or service can only be used during gift card’s validity time.

Offers and discount codes

Offers are valid only the time announced. Offers cannot be combined with other offers unless it is expressly stated.

Gift card usage

Valid gift cards are eligible means of payment for the mentioned product and for the products of the mentioned service provider. Show the gift card to the service provider when paying. Most of the Quality Hotel Sveitsi’s services need to be booked in advance. Gift cards will not be refunded in cash, nor unused services refunded.

Refund policy

The buyer or receiver of a gift card has rights to cancel the deal within 14 days after receiving a gift card. The right is valid only for unused gift cards. The right of cancellation does not exist if the buyer has already booked the service or the service provider has started the preparations for the service. After cancelling the buyer has to return the gift card. Quality Hotel Sveitsi will return the money to the buyer’s bank account in a month after cancelling the reservation. Quality Hotel Sveitsi has the right to invalidate the gift cards of the purchase in case, where payment has not been received in full in accordance with the general payment terms within 14 days.

Change, transfer or redemption of a gift card

Unused gift card can be changed during its validity to another same or less valued Quality Hotel Sveitsi gift card. The gift card cannot be exchanged for use at other hotels. The purchaser or the receiver of the gift card must return the gift card if changing the card. Quality Hotel Sveitsi does not return the possible difference of the original price and the new price. The change of the gift card does not change its validity time. Unused gift card could be transferred to a third party with the permission of Quality Hotel Sveitsi. Unused gift card are not refundable after its expiry.

Limitation of Liability

Valid gift cards are eligible means of payment for the mentioned product and for the products of the mentioned service provider. Quality Hotel Sveitsi’s liability is always limited to no more than denomination of the gift card. Gift card shop is not responsible for any damages or delays resulting from force majeure such as strike, lockout, blockade of payment, communication disorder.

Changes in demand and supply conditions

Quality Hotel Sveitsi reserves the right to change its terms of delivery. The customer must be observed before ordering by the valid order and delivery terms.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

To these general terms of delivery between Quality Hotel Sveitsi and the buyer and Quality Hotel Sveitsi and the receiver of a gift card apply the law of Finland. Disagreements caused by contractual relations are solved by Dis­trict Court of Itä-Uusi­maa. In so far as the agreement is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, the consumer who is party to the agreement may bring an action in district court of his residence.

Payments

Products and services are paid mainly within the Online reservation process. You may pay in Online system with credit card or with Finnish bank web payment. Payment is delivered by Adyen. If the payment is done with credit card, Quality Hotel Sveitsi operates only by the trader of the products and services and the provider of the products and services. Complaints are handled by Adyen, www.adyen.com.
