Hotel Admiral

The hotel might be very trendy and stylish, but it didn’t work for us. The architecture of the room with the wooden beams looked really cool but made us terrified of banging our heads every time we walked into the room, especially going to the bathroom during the night. The bed frame was wider that the mattress, so we were constantly bumping our legs into it. The bath towels, supposedly white, were gray and rough. The closet is a joke: we couldn't fit anything in it because the space was so narrow. I read that Admiral had been promoted to a 5-star hotel, so it should offer better service upon arrival and departure, such as helping with the luggage.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, food was great and staff were exceptional in helping and resolving any questions I had (which was about splitting billing). The breakfast was lovely and fresh, and set me up nicely for the day. Very friendly and would happily stay again.

This place is amazing. Fabulous location, well priced and very comfortable and clean. So close to Nyhavn and the restaurants etc. We had a couple of issues with our room and were promptly transferred to another room which was bigger. The staff are very helpful, genuine, polite and accomodating. The best we have encountered at any hotel. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We didn’t want to leave.

The was staff was very friendly and professional. They addressed our requests promptly and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Lastly, great location especially if it is your first time visiting Copenhagen. All the “ must see” places are walkable distance. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Copenhagen.

Stayed for two nights and changed room 3 times. We booked waterfront standard room but given car park view, after speaking to reception we were apparentky given an upgrade to waterfront room, but room was tiny and next to lift so had little sleep first night, after a 445am start. Moved to a lovely waterfront room for second night. Location and view is perfect, lots of work being done on ground floor.
