Lonely Christmas Tree Christmas Donation Campaign

Every year, Clarion Hotel® Helsinki proudly places a large Christmas tree in our lobby and beneath it, we gather gifts for those in need within our community. Would you like to help?

This year, our charity partner is HESY ry. Founded in 1874, HESY is a pioneer of animal welfare in Finland. Over the decades, they have cared for tens of thousands of homeless pets, helping them find new, loving homes. Supporting and caring for these animals comes with significant annual costs from veterinary treatments to daily necessities.

That’s why we are collecting essential items that HESY needs every day to look after the animals in their care.

Here are some of the items most needed right now:

Animal care:

• Wet food for kittens (preferably Royal Canin or other pet store brands)

• Dry food for kittens (preferably Royal Canin or other pet store brands)

• Clumping cat litter (all brands welcome, nothing wood-based)

• Fleece or wool blankets (for bedding)

• Dog chews: plain rawhide or tube-shaped bones (various sizes, no knots, coatings, or fillings)

• Axilur 250mg or 500mg (deworming medicine)

• Mirrix 3g (deworming medicine)

• Nutriplus Gel

• Tehobakt powder

• Canikur tablets or paste

Cleaning supplies:

• Trash bags

• Bin liners

• Fairy dishwashing liquid

• Tolu cleaner

• Liquid hand soap

• Dishwasher detergent

• Laundry detergent

• Disposable gloves (sizes M and L, no vinyl)

• Hand sanitizer (bottle or pocket size)

 You can participate in our collection by bringing your donation unwrapped to our reception between 17 November and 19 December. All donations will be delivered directly to HESY ry.
