Klaus K Hotel

Third time staying at Klaus K. Even central it is quiet. Breakfast is good, would like to get offered Cappuccino or Caffe Latte though. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is very cool with nice wines and good Italian cuisine. 5 min walk to Central station and 10 min walk thru the park to the harbour. Many pubs, restaurants and bars close by. I will return!

You can’t expect this hotel to pretend to have 4 stars.. the service does not exist. If you have three bags or so, be aware to carry them over stairs or so and all by yourself! We had to change room, moving to a more expensive one (so good for them) and we have to beg them to have our bags, only after packing them perfectly again otherwise the waiter would have been confused! Do you want us to clean the rooms also?

Fantastic breakfast and excellent location. Comfy beds with single covers. Nice pillows. Not great wifi connection in our room.

Visiting here after a long break and first time with kids. Have to say that why haven’t i came back earlier. Location is very good, rooms are nice and decorated with heart. There is still hints of finnish design everywhere. And breakfast tastes always fresh and finnish like grandma had it always cooked in Finland. Kids also gave two thumbs up for this.

This hotel is an easy walk from the central station and convenient to the main Helsinki attractions. I was in a sky suite with balcony. While thoughtfully decorated, the room being on slightly different levels meant you could not see the tv from the bed and stairs in the middle of the night can be problematic. The balcony was great and thank goodness for it. It was hot and the hotel does not have AC. Opening the balcony door was the only thing saving me from expiring. But a bug made a meal of me and the noise from the nearby bar was bad. I got very little sleep and facing days of this checked out early. The staff were very nice and friendly and I’m sure in cooler weather (i.e. most of the year in Finland) this hotel would be fine.
