This hotel has a noisy location with goods trains rumbling past all night. Perhaps a room on the other side of the hotel might have been better. We were put in the room furthest away from the list - or actually furthest away from the stair well as the single lift was broken. The 'midsummer party' buffet was good value.

We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious. They had a vegan option and amazing food! We did not stay here but were impressed by the staff and overall modern feel and will look into staying here for our next visit to Oppdal. They also have a nice lobby with a bar.

This is definitely a ski town hotel. Large, busy, slightly less personal than what we'd come to expect. However, the staff really were friendly and helpful. It was quite clean but not pristine. The smoke from the smokers three storys below wafted right into our room = not pleasant when we wanted to open the windows. The view was nice, of the big mound of a hill outside the town (which we hiked up).
