Comfort Hotel® Børsparken

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Incredibly uncomfortable beds, no air movement so the only way to get fresh air is by opening the window which then lets in all of the street noise. Sub par customer service by a young girl at the front desk at check. Other family members had broken furniture, no soap in the shower, and no windows.

Excellent throughout our stay. My wife and I stayed from 12/9/23-15/9/23 for a City break. We arrived early but the very friendly and helpful reception offered us an available upgraded room on the 7th floor overlooking the Fjords. We were very happy with the location as a perfect base to explore the City on foot. The room was compact but comfortable and more than adequate for our three nights stay. Breakfasts were varied, plentiful and tasty. Service from all staff was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

What I encountered at this hotel was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, I was offered an early check-in, for which I agreed to pay a certain amount. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when the manager intervened and attempted to double the fee. In response to my objection, he blamed the misunderstanding on the inexperienced staff member who had initially served me. As this interaction took place in a public area, the manager offered a poorly thought-out ultimatum - either proceed with the check-in or leave. When confronted about the inconsistency in pricing, he suggested that guests should be understanding of potential errors during staff training, a claim I found rather unconvincing. Once upon a time, this hotel was my weekly refuge and was synonymous with excellent service and good value. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was a far cry from the past, marked by rudeness and a lack of professionalism.

Fantastic location minutes away from all the attractions and transport connections. Bed is a bit narrow. Breakfast is an awesome selection! Membership is great for my cuppa after a long day out. The staff are warm and welcoming. I enjoyed my vacation amd booked the rest of my Norway adventure with Strawberry!

Was supposed to visit in 2020 but trip was cancelled due to COVID. Hotel refused to refund any money despite the fact I sent them the cancellation email from the tour company. In the past, I'd received better customer service from this chain. Must be they did everything they could to make money by refusing to cancel.
