Comfort Hotel® Xpress Central Station

Stayed just one night in Oslo as we had a early morning train journey booked this hotel was perfectly located a short walk from Oslo central station. Rooms were comfortable but small no wardrobes just wall hangers . Check in and out was excellent via a iPad Would happily return

We picked this hotel based on budget as well as location as we were arriving by train and would be leaving early morning Location wise this is the perfect choice, it's minutes from the station, super easy to find. Outside it doesn't look like much, but inside it's modern/funky and clean and fresh. We used the screens to check in and got straight to our room on the 3rd floor. We are a family of 3, 2 adults and a 6 year old. I had really wanted one of the top floor rooms with the terrace but sadly they don't allow an extra bed to be added to those. I think that's a real shame. So we had to go fo a standard room with an added small bed for our child. Room was immaculately clean, quite dark and the quirky place to hang clothes is interesting but it worked for us. The room is definitely dark, and we were overlooking an office space with people working right across from us so felt we needed to keep the curtains closed all the time making it darker. Still, we were only really in the room.to sleep and change anyway so it was fine Bathroom good although slight flooding when taking a shower. Appreciated the under floor heating in there Staff at the barception were lovely, really helpful. We didn't fancy the breakfast bag and they recommended somewhere close by (left out of hotel, left then left again) a little bakery place that had great pastries and some hot options. Location was perfect, we explored everywhere easily from here. We used the number 12 tram a lot from just round the corner to get to the ferry pier and sculpture park, we also walked the surrounding streets easily and always felt safe. A ton of great restaurants etc close by and minutes from the stunning public library and opera house. First time in Oslo and it blew our socks off, I would happily return to this hotel on our next trip as it ticked the boxes we needed ticking

Perfect location - steps away from the train station, tram lines, and main shopping street and a quick walk to the Opera House. Rooms very clean and functional with a nice size bathroom - we had a balcony room on the 7th floor which gave us extra space and a nice place to relax (not much of a view, but to the left & right you can see nice rooftops). If you are looking for a luxury, hands-on experience, this is not it, but it was exactly what were wanted - a clean, comfortable base from which to explore the city. Would definitely recommend for self-sufficient travelers!

We stayed at this excellent hotel from July 9 to July 12 in 2024 in room 520. Very nice and extremely clean room and bathroom. All hotel staff (room cleaners and reception staff) are all very nice and professional. We have to point out that the whole reception staff ( Especially Phil the reception manager) are worth their weight in gold ! We have never encountered such good reception and service anywhere. The BarCeption ( Clever name for Bar and Reception) have a basic food menu and very good coffe and hot chocolate + basic drinks for a nightcap in the lobby. There is also free water in the BarCeption, so you can hydrate while waiting of when you come back to the hotel after a long day outside. (Water dispenser) This hotel is better at service than any 5 star hotels !! We will definitely come back ! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay in Oslo. The hotel is 3 min walk from Oslo central station and 50 meters away from Karl Johan's Gate.

Everything as expected. The staff were extremely polite and professional. The hotel is situated in one of the best spots in Oslo nearby restaurant and touristic places. Rooms very clean and functional ideally for all sorts of visitors. In an expensive city like Oslo such kind of accommodation is highly appreciated.
