Welcome to Clarion Hotel® Energy, Norway's most unique design hotel and Stavanger's biggest conference hotel. The hotel was designed by Snøhetta and features art by the Norwegian painter Kjell Pahr-Iversen born in Stavanger. You'll find lots to see and do near the hotel, situated just next to Stavanger Forum, a short walk over to the DNB Arena and just 7 minutes' walk to central Stavanger.

Perfect location to explore Stavanger

The hotel is situated just 20 minutes' drive from Stavanger Airport and 10 minutes from the train station. The nearest bus stop is located just outside the building, which is also one of the stops for the airport bus. You can rent both electric vehicles and bikes from the hotel, and if you'd like to take a taxi, we recommend Stavanger Taxi. Go ahead and discover Stavanger's the historic wharf houses (Sjøhusrekken), the charming cobbled streets in Gamle Stavanger, and the brightly coloured houses on Fargegaten. If you're up for a memorable experience in a stunning natural setting, make sure to visit the Solastranden beach, the Kjerag Boulder, and the Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen), Norway's most popular tourist destination. You'll also find plenty of restaurants, shops and cafés, as well as museums, sporting events and the lively Kongeparken to explore in Stavanger. For those who enjoy golf, head to the Stavanger Golf Club near Stokkavannet, the oldest 18-hole course in the country.

A Scandinavian architectural gem

This unique design hotel was designed by Snøhetta, taking inspiration from Preikestolen's characteristic shape. The seamless expression continues inside, with designer furnishings by Arne Jacobsen, and fabulous works of art by the Norwegian painter Kjell Pahr-Iversen who was born in Stavanger. The Social Bar & Bistro serves classic international bistro dishes with a modern twist, and the Living Room lounge offers an inviting setting to sit back and relax with a beverage or a bite to eat. If you fancy a workout, the hotel has a gym featuring a range of modern equipment and you can even head out for a run in an idyllic setting around Mosvannet, Stokkavannet or Sørmarka.

Stavanger's largest conference hotel

The hotel has conference facilities for up to 1,000 people, and as part of Stavanger Forum, it is Norway's largest congress and exhibition venue.
