Comfort Hotel® Trondheim

The hotel has a good location and an ok breakfast. Small room without minibars, little place tô hang up your clothes etc, só you need to live out of your suitcase. The most annoying thing though, is a repetitivo buzz like there is a mobile Phone vibrating every 48-49 seconds. This make it impossible to sleep. I would stay away from this hotel as i see other people also complaining about this sound. After all, if you cant sleep well its not Worth paying for the stay.

This hotel is in a great location right in the middle of town near the bars, restaurants, river, and right by a bus stop. Reception were friendly and helpful and explained on check-in that the room is only cleaned every 4 days which was a bit of surprise. Room itself was very basic - definitely budget. No tea/coffee making, no tissues, no wardrobe! Toilet is separated from the room by a sliding glass door (which offers no sound proofing!) The door makes quite a noise when it opens and closes. My room had a bathroom fan that had no switch so it was on for days. Bathroom does have a heated floor, shower only, and some hooks for clothes. Some shower gel was provided, and a hairdryer - all good. Room was quite hot even although it was cold outside. There's a communal iron and board in the corridor which (as others have said) gives a student halls feel to the place. I kept hearing guests complaining to reception about security - apparently keys could open other doors which is serious. The hotel need to address this issue. My key never worked properly - it took about 4 or 5 attempts to unlock my room door each time. Breakfast is a good buffet although there isn't much Norwegian about it. Hot food, cold meats and cheese, nice bread. Coffee wasn't really hot. Nice smoothies though. This hotel could really do with having some food available but I guess they assume you will eat in one of the local (expensive) restaurants. There is a bar. Also a gym and a Playstation and table tennis and darts. Does have a bit of a hostel feel. So in summary: great location, great breakfast, ok bar, below-average rooms, malfunctioning door keys, no restaurant.

A hotel with a fantastic, rich, complete and balanced breakfast. Very delicious Saturday morning pancakes. A very quiet and spacious hotel with a ping pong table, a small gym and a container of water at the entrance that is always available. the staff very kind and available at any time. only the bed was not very comfortable.

A very good hotel; good location close to the city center, nice and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, great breakfasts (lots of vegan options are great). I only have one caveat; the hotel says it is eco-friendly and taking care of the planet is important. I think so too. But there are artificial plastic plants in front of the hotel entrance and in the lobby. Why? After all, natural plants are not expensive, they are prettier and they are ecological. Why plastic?

I must say I Slept very well at Comfort Hotel Trondheim. My room was as requested on a quit place in the hotel. Window at a inner place. So not the side of the street or the inside of the hotel. The room was clean. Its small, with not a lot of place to put you cloths. I missed a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was good.
