Hotel C Stockholm

Just returned from a 4 day stay at this wonderful hotel. Flew into Arlanda airport, took the express train to Stockholm city and the hotel was literally a few steps away so really convenient. The staff are warm and welcoming on reception and the bar staff were attentive. The rooms are spotlessly clean with bath and shower and really comfortable beds . We upgraded to a deluxe queen room and so had windows. The breakfast was plentiful and really good choice and quality. The hotel just has a really lovely vibe. Shuffle board game was something we hadn't played before but clearly a pass time enjoyed by young and old alike. We didn't use the ice bar or restaurant for an evening meal as we simply ran out of time so cannot comment on either of these. Everything is within easy reach from this hotel and mainly within walking distance. If you're visiting the abba or vasa museums use the tram but beware they do get packed on Saturday's. To get to the tram turn right outside of the hotel and right on to the main road. Keep walking to the central station but don't enter the station. Use the external escalator to the right of the entrance in the corner. At the top turn left and make for the tram number 7. The stop is directly opposite the large department store. So to conclude, excellent hotel, centrally located, fabulous staff, value for money, spotlessly clean with a sumptuous breakfast. What more could a visitor to this wonderful city ask for? Will definitely return.

We were very pleased with our four night stay at this hotel. Our room on the 7th floor was roomy enough, very clean with a really comfy bed, tea and coffee making facilities but no fridge. The bathroom had a bath with over shower which was plenty powerful and no shortage of hot water. The hairdryer was powerful but one you have to keep a button depressed, which is a pain! House keeping was efficient and all staff we came into contact with were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast had plenty of variety and was always kept refreshed, Sunday morning was a little hectic (but you are warned) all other days were calm with plenty of seating available. The location I thought was very good, close to the station for the Arlanda Express, nearby a metro station, shops, restaurants and we found it an easy walk into the old town. We visited the ice bar which was well worth the experience. I would happily book to stay again if returning to Stockholm.

Arrived with the airport train and found the hotel just a few steps from the exit. Very convenient location if you are coming from or going to Arlanda. The hotel has all you can ask for if you are there both for business and pleasure. It is not a five star hotel - but you do not pay five star price either. Small bar in the reception. Ok selection for breakfast. I had a very cozy room on the 7th floor. No problem with noice from the street there. Would absolutely come back.

Chosed the “Superior” room alternative and found a very small and low standard room with a window towards a backyard. Two of the cupboard doors were not possible to open properly (the “push to open” mechanism was broken). The shower temperature was not possible to change (thermostat handle was not working). The room temp was too hot despite the regulator being set to lowest possible (it was a few degree below zero centigrades outside!). Also, the window curtains were hung up in the wrong way, the light type was inside the ones closing out the daylight. Really badly managed as a whole. Will never stay there again.

Lovely hotel, perfectly situated to explore Stockholm. Rooms compact but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served in a calm environment and was very good value. There was plenty to choose from with staff keeping it clean and topped up, so it was nice and fresh.
