Clarion Hotel® Wisby

I always stay this hotell. Bed is really good you will have a good Night sleep. Breakfast is huge, really good. One minus is bad quality English breakfast te. That should be better quality. Rooms are clean and big. Personel is nice and always glad

Would not recommend a stay at this hotel as first of all the rooms are not as promised in the description. Breakfast could have been good but a lot of things were finished and several guest was without plates, coffee and scrambled eggs, yoghurt etc. The drain in our shower as well as the basin was not working properly and there was water all of the floor when showering. The answer if anyone could help out was 'sorry but we don´t have a technician here today'. Will not stay at this hotel again. The smell in the bathroom was not nice.

The hotel is old-style and beautiful, adjoined to the older inner city wall, in the heart of Visby, very close to the Almedalen park. All main attractions of Visby were within a short walking distance. The one-person room was quiet, with a nice view over ceilings to the sea. The bed was comfortable and wide and the bathroom well equipped. There was no electric kettle in the room; however, free coffee was available in the bar. The breakfast variety was large and delicious. I was greeted in a friendly manner and felt welcome during my stay.

the taxi refused to go to the hotel. Hotel is anyway 400 meters from the ferry docks. It is a Huge place taking the entire block of buildings between two streets, that means: - queuing to check in. - you have to book a time everyday to take breafast. - rooms are just plain simple, nothing old or fancy. - we book a deluxe one with a convertible sofa, but got a small one without sofa.. in the morning, was waken up by street cleaning machines at 06h00.. Staff friendly. But would choose another hotel for a future stay.

We stayed here for four days in May. The rooms are mixed some nicer than others. Our first room was uncomfortable. It was supposed to be a superior but with a wooden and a little half chair, there was no place to sit. We ended up in a suite, which looked quite luxurious and the bed was divine and the view from our high up room was amazing. But the little things made the stay somewhat uncomfortable like a basic lack of service, the phone often was not picked up. The tea kettle had no sugar, so we were out looking for that. No plug in the bathroom to dry your hair. These are not small problems when you are relaxed and trying to work or go out. Finally, the hotel has no room service at all, OK that's fine but they really should have basic service. Neighboring hotels have little cafes and restaurants. The Kitchen & Table is small, so getting reservations there same day is not easy any time in summer.
