A historical building from 1906

Coming in spring 2021, you can look forward to a renovated and wonderfully designed hotel in Sickla, located in southwest Stockholm. It is an old wallpaper factory that is now being converted into a Clarion Collection Hotel. The wallpaper factory opened its doors in 1906 and the building’s history will of course be preserved when it is turned into a hotel. In order for visitors to get a feel for the history even before they enter the hotel, the façade is being reconstructed with original bricks.

Dinner buffet included restaurant and conference facilities

Guests and residents of Sickla can look forward to a wonderful and generous lobby with a restaurant and bar, conference facilities and 156 hotel rooms. As with all Clarion Collection hotels, Tonight’s Special (evening meal in buffet form) and Afternoon Sweets (delicious sweet treats) will be included in the room price for all guests.

The perfect location for those travelling to southern Stockholm or the archipelago

Sickla is located in southwest Stockholm, 15 minutes from Stockholm Central Station. The area itself is known for its popular shopping centre Sickla Köpkvarter, which offers over 150 boutiques and many restaurants. It’s easy to get to Sickla, whether you’re coming from north or south. From the T-centralen/Stockholm Central you take the underground to Slussen and then a bus to Sickla. You can also take the tvärbanan (Stockholm crossways line) that goes the whole way from Solna via Alvik and Gullmarsplan to Sickla. In another couple of years, there will be a new underground line opening with a station in Sickla. In other words, the location is perfect for those who want to stay close to Stockholm’s southern regions such as Nacka, Liljeholmen, Årsta, Hammarby Sjöstad, Södermalm, Gullmarsplan and Globen. If you have spare time, we recommend taking one of the buses out to Värmdö and the Stockholm archipelago. From Sickla, it is about an hour’s journey out to Stavsnäs and the archipelago boats and islands.

Take a run around Sickla lake

Our hotel is near Sickla lake (Sickla sjö), where you can walk or run the 3.3 beautiful km around the lake. The southern part of the beach faces towards the forest and Nacka nature reserve.
