Clarion Hotel® Copenhagen Airport

This hotel is absolutely not worthy of a 4.5 rating. The service is terrible, the food was at best average and overly expensive even for Copenhagen. Stay elsewhere. There are other better options close to the metro which will get you to the airport just fine.

I have stayed here several times earlier. This time I booked Clarion-CPH for the nights of Dec 30 and 31 as I had a flight out on the morning of Jan 1. Ahead of my stay, the hotel informed me about an unusual event on New Year’s Eve: they would be hosting hundreds of dogs and their owners, seeking refuge from the cacophony of fireworks during Copenhagen's New Year’s Eve revelry. Despite the unique situation, the process was impressively well-organised, and as a guest, I experienced no inconvenience. This airport hotel is very convenient, with a seamless walk to the check-in terminals directly from within the airport complex. While there are some minor design flaws that could be improved, the rooms are comfortable and well-suited for a short stay.

May 2024 stayed 2 nights at the Clarion Copenhagen Airport Hotel. The hotel is connected to the airport which was very convenient. The hotel was nice and they had the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever experienced. The food at the hotel was expensive, but the food was good. If I’m in the Copenhagen area again, I would consider this hotel.

I love, love, love the quality of sleep here. The beds and pillows, covers are AWESOME! I also love their bedding, and most of the hotel is quiet. I’m a little apalled by the bar-area. I’ve stayed here numerous times, and there’s ALWAYS drunk people in the lobby and around. They feel like they’re running a 5 star hotel, they’re really not. It’s an old Hilton Hotel, that has nice amenities, and turn down bedding etc. Now they’re more of an airport hotel with Ok service and Ok bedding. Not luxury at all, but ok. Rooms run a bit small if you’re from the US, they’re spacious and nice if you’re from Scandinavia. Nice staff, hard to understand most of the accents though. They have really great cooks apparently, I’m just not that into their breakfast, lunch or dinner more days in a row. For longer stays O would probably chose something else, for flying definitely this. I also feel like a hotel in that class should have more channels on tv, or free and easy casting options. They don’t. They have a really nice workspace if needed in the rooms.

Amazing airport hotel with great vibes! Service is good and they actually made some really spicy margaritas thanks to bartender Fadil Castro 😊 first place in Europe where they actually can make the drink proper. Not a lot of airport hotels that have this good vibe - I will be back!
