Excellent hotel and location. Visiting Helsinki for the second time for the marathon we wanted a hotel which is close to the start/finish line (1km away). The room on the third floor had everything you could need and expect. Very clean and modern. A small but very important point for those travellers who need to plug into the TV for work, all TV inputs are easily accessible. Breakfast options were outstanding with a time offering up to 11.30am which meant we could compete in the race and get back for a late breakfast. If we return to Helsinki we would definitely stay again at Hotel Fabian.

Very nice, quiet hotel near the centre of Helsinki. Close to the Market Place with its departure points for archipelago cruises and to local transport (though most of Helsinki can be done on foot). The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had quiet rooms at the top of the hotel: they were small but comfortably appointed. Good beds and bedding. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is varied and of good quality, though the breakfast room is a bit cramped. Good quality/ price. If we go back to Helsinki, we will return to the Fabian Hotel.

Hotel Fabian is a cute boutique hotel just next to the harbor in Helsinki (great location!). We loved our room-the shower was excellent! The breakfast was also varied and delicious with many fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The staff were very kind and held our bags for us after checkout. I would happily stay here again!

Just left here and the breakfast was great. Good location. The room was not my favorite. The AC didn't go lower than 76 F and the only blanket was a duvet and windows didn't open. The side tables were ladders so not much storage space and the legs of the ladder extended into the room (I locked it 2/3 nights I was there). Only had conditioner - no body wash or soap and the shampoo was out. I left it open to signify it needed to be refilled but it was overlooked all three days.
