Hotel No 13

We stayed at this hotel twice in March, one night before a Hurtigruten cruise and two nights after the cruise. Location of the hotel is excellent. Easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to visit in Bergen and only a couple of minutes to walk to the hotel from the tram that runs direct from the airport. It's also only 15 minutes to walk to the Hurtigruten terminal from the hotel: alternatively, taxis are not far away. Excellent breakfast to start the day. Wonderful, friendly reception staff. Good value. If we're back in Bergen, Hotel No. 13 will be our preferred place to stay.

Super location in the center of Bergen. fresh rooms, a little small, but all you need. Friendly staff that helps if needed.Great breakfast with freshly baked bread, pan-fried eggs and bacon, all you need and more.. This hotel is well worth a stay!

A verry nice Hotel in the middle of Bergen. Close to the Harbour and sightseeing atteactions. It's easily accessible with Tram from the Airport. The empoyees make a verry good Job, there are verry helpful and nice. A flagship for norwegian People.

We had booked Hotel 13 for our holiday vacation months ago, excited to visit Bergen. The reservation was confirmed. TODAY, 20 days before we were supposed to arrive at Hotel 13, they messaged us to inform us that our reservation was CANCELED because they would be closed for the Christmas holiday. And, they took the liberty of moving our reservation over to another hotel. They claimed the other hotel "had nice rooms" and the reservation would be "at the same rate" - as if they were doing us a favor by canceling our hotel reservation and finding us another room at a hotel that was ranked more poorly (and available online at a lower rate - such a scam!) I find it hard to believe that Hotel 13 did not know - until 20 days before - that they would be closed for the Christmas holiday. They should have never taken the reservation to begin with, or at least given us ample notice to find another hotel room ourselves. Poor customer service.

This hotel was a fantastic find. It offered warmth and peace and quiet for our first trip to Bergen. The staff were amazing and helpful. The decor is funky without being over the top. I’m so glad we chose to spend our time here and recommend it to everyone. The beds were really comfortable and the towels were huge. What more could we want…..maybe more tv options but that’s it.
