Hotel Oleana

Perfect and beautiful location; underground parking with lift to just aside the hotel; nice view to the Ole Bull's place without noice from traffic; clean, everything well functioning, perfectly arranged bathroom in spite of small room; charming architecture/inventory/wall paintings; nice meals; and foremost, nice, friendly and helpful staff, including in the restaurant.

The hotel is lovely. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The breakfast included lots of options. they were delicious. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we make it back to Bergen.

Centrally located hotel on a pretty square. I parked in a nearby garage that was very close and the hotel provided a 15% discount for it. It cost the equivalent of $25/day. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were small but very well stocked with everything we needed. Coffee, tea, minibar, safe, etc. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom and shower were pretty luxurious. My only complaint is that the room was incredibly dark--no overhead lights in the bedroom, so I couldn't even read a book at night. Just a tiny bedside lamp that didn't provide enough light at all. And we were in the back of the hotel so our view was a large apartment complex, so we looked right into people's apartments. That meant we had to close the drapes when in the room, which made it even darker. Otherwise, wonderful place. The breakfast assortment was amazing and delicious. One of the best I have ever seen. A fireplace made the breakfast room very cozy. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a sexy hotel in the centre of Bergen. Its location is perfect, right in the centre of Bergen, next to the National Theatre, 3-5 minutes away from Bryggen and 2 minutes away from the tram stop (to the airport). I found the bedrooms on the smallish side, but fully equipped, and stylish. Breakfast is very good for North Europe's hotel standards.

Great location, close to restaurants and shops and a quick walk to the waterfront. The highlight was the breakfast! I would force myself of bed with my jet lag so that I wouldn't miss it. Staff was helpful, so kind and made me feel very welcome. Room was a bit small, but it's what I expected and wasn't in there much. I felt safe and comfortable as a solo traveler. And, I loved the fun/slightly risque art in the halls and room. Highly recommend!
