Dalen Hotel

It was such a blast! On the way back home we stayed for one night in this hotel. It was an amazing evening with a Michelin level dining, esthetic & delicious meals, great service - applause to the whole team. The room was clean, with a separate entrance - directly to the garden. I must brag that evening storytelling was so fun, interesting and I learnt some intriquit facts, complimentary water, portvine & chocolates were provided, bed made with rose petals. And sleeping masks given too. I loved to be at this place which reminded me overnighting in Pakruojis mannor in Lithuania - both historical places & very special ones. Dalen hotel is surrounded by a breath taking nature, has sauna, excellent staff, skilled pianist, and way much more. Highly recommended! Once again - a great work 👌

Motel vibe. I have no idea why this is rated how it is. See for yourself. Also speaking to the supervisor was the worst experience i’ve had at any hotel. Check some of the photos from other users and then you’ll see why i felt the way i did. Anyway my two cents

Absolutely worth including in your Norway trip. Amazing atmosphere, attention to details, outstanding service - memorable experience! Tip: hike to the top of mountain in front of hotel is well recommended!

Exellent hotel, food and service. This must be the most beautiful hotel in Norway! Combined with the boat-tour on Telemarkskanalen, and walking-tour (30min) to the old Rui houses, this is a uniqe experience in two days (and we have seen a lot!).

Not just a hotel, but a wonderful experience. Romantic, historic and the best service. Lovely place and full hearted recommend it.
