I had high expectations for this visit, unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed. One of the main issues was the lack of knowledge among the waiters regarding the menu. Despite numerous confirmations regarding dietary allergies, it seemed that little attention was paid to these concerns during the meal service. This oversight was concerning and could have potentially led to someone getting seriously ill. Additionally, we had opted for a wine package, which unfortunately our server seemed unfamiliar with the selections being poured. This lack of attention to detail detracted from the overall dining experience. I hope that you will take this feedback into consideration and address these issues to ensure a more enjoyable experience for future guests. Despite the challenges I encountered during my recent visit, I must commend your hotel for its overall excellence. The vibe, amenities, and overall atmosphere of the hotel were truly remarkable.

Interior 9/10 Service 7/10 Food 4/10 SPA facilities 4/10 Price - overprised ( 5400 nok for 2 persons: 1 night stay, 2hours SPA zone, dinner: main course, 1 coctail and desert, breakfest. Really nice interior design place but totally need reorganized service, food and SPA zone. Waittress in a reastaurant: seems like they dont know what they were doing. Asked something, said that they gonna confirm, byt never get back to us with confirmation. Waitting drinks and food really long, some of them came not on the same time. Medium beef was totally raw, asked to do new but medium, went back with another one the same raw. Asked third time: offered to have entrecote- last one was good. But the other one was sitting with a cold food waitting for another's medium beef. They asked if we wanna to change both to have warm, but we wasnt able to went the food again soo long. Having 2 courses menu included in a package ( difference from a package without dinner was 2000 nok), there was no choises: main course beef, deserr cremebrule. I asked what they do if the customers are vegan or doesnt like something, they said: you have to mark in a alergies before you come, but we didnt knew this information and we didnt thought that not eating meat is the same as alergy. Finally I got fish. Ceaser salads- cost 300 nok- but they was really bad: big letuce, dry chicken too much of dried bread pieces and some kinf of fried things inside. SPA zone: smal, cold and not cosy and relaxing. Inside zone was open with outside and being in a warm water or after hot sauna it can get easily sick. Too much noise of the drunk people. Not comfortable relaxing beds by pool- just some sitting places. The water in a swiming pool- cold. This is our experience. Just two people from restaurant tryed to cover all the feils. Receptionist even havent ask if we was there before or not- just gave the key and no information about everything. I think it is overprised for the quality of relaxing weekend😬

If u r from US u might wanna find some other accomodation. We aint used to such regrettable service even in Montanas B&B’s for 20bcks a nite. Overrated hotel and the restaurant was the worst experience in my 20 day Europe stay. We already done Croatia, Poland, UK, Germany, France and Italy. This riviera in Norway was simply horrid. Lemme just tell ya all that them servers dont know what they servin, the food is awful. Seafood tastes like sandals, blond waitress with funny V name did not know her wines, 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣🤣 not much bout food she serves either. Worst service experience. Restaurant boss that we have asked for - did not know basics about food or wine too. I mean what the hell is this. Amateurs, all the pink and palms in the world wont help you if your staff and food is … Front desk was also hopeless. Uninformed, lack of initative to help. The solid woman in the wellness floor was so rude to me and Eli , I had to breathe thru my belly not to become agressive on her. I will take my business to the capital next time. Its embarassing to drag business partners to this desorganised establishment. P.s. We also saw at least 4 other tables absolutely furious. Staff in conflict, bad food, long waiting time, NOONE smiles, and the blonde girl waiting on us just tried to laugh her enormous lack of knowledge and unproffesionalism away. Gee. We met a couple from Zurich in the hotel and they had pretty much the same thing to say about the standards here. Does the management need an educational trip to a 5* to know how to run this place? Oh yes. Looks like the restaurant is run by a 10 yo. We wanted to book this place for our next expo in southern Norway. Not happening anymore. Best of luck. Will not be coming back.
