Norefjell Ski & Spa

A nice place with a great view, but be aware of their arrogance if you complain about anything. Staff is mostly unprofessional younger people without proper training in how to provide customer service. I complained about something unsatisfactory during lunch (scrambled eggs made from powder) and they told me I was wrong. We were on a business trip, and many of us reacted that they actually pulled this kind of cheap trick, and then denied it. Also, they will start hammering on your door 1 hour before checkout, and evenenter your room (saying "oh, excuse me"). Planned disrespectful behaviour. I cannot recommend this hotel. Go elswhere.

A beautiful hotel located in a very pretty area, next to a small lake. The kitchen is perfect, each and every meal we had was delicious. There is an amazing swimming pool, perfect for both grown ups and kids. The staff was very kind and helpful during our stay.

Such an amazing experience. This resort is such a magical place. The hotel is tucked between the mountains and rivers of Noresund Norway. The views of the rolling mountains are priceless and can be admired from every single window in the hotel. The rooms are cozy and clean. The staff is friendly. The food is excellent. The famous spa is well worth a visit or two. Not to mention there is a second pool area for the family to enjoy equipped with a newly remodeled gym, saunas, lap pool, and jacuzzis. Each season offers something special and unique. Endless hiking and ski trails. Wild berries and swimming holes. Waterfalls, norther lights, great views. Grilling areas and activities for families like horseback riding, canoeing, and grilling areas. The hotel itself is filled with cozy areas to relax and unwind next to fireplaces. There are several food and bar areas so you have options when you are hungry. There's a nightclub on the weekends with live music. There's even a ski store to buy and rent clothes and equipment. I have two large breed dogs and this is their favorite place to visit. The hotel and staff are extremely dog friendly. Honestly it's perfect.

A double bed without single beds was specified when booking the stay, but single beds were delivered. On Saturday dinner, the butler let in guests in swimwear and bare skin. not suitable for a buffet. Here you pay a lot for a dining experience and get better comfort at home. management promises return of bonus points, which I have never seen. The hotel is run by a management that cannot be trusted. I recommend caution when making a booking at this hotel considering the hotel's management and reliability.

In a word AWESOME, the facilities, staff, quality of food and service was second to none. We used the Olympique restaurant for evening dinner and the Skisenter for lunch, both were excellent. Our ski guides for the day were Nils and Leon, who were both very patient and helpful which made a novice like myself have a most enjoyable day on the slopes
