Breakfast

Here at the Clarion Hotel Post, guests can look forward to a nutritious, delicious and filling buffet breakfast. We are proud to be able to serve a wide selection of organic produce, as well as Fairtrade coffee. The hotel is also palm-oil free. Breakfast is always included in the price of your room.

Breakfast is served:

Weekdays: 6.30am – 9.30am
Weekends: 7.30am – 11am

Please note that you will need to book yourself a 45-minute breakfast slot time to avoid overcrowding. You can book your slot using a QR code when you check in.

Parking

Guests enjoy discounted rates on parking fees! Simply pull up in front of our entrance, leave your car there for up to 10 minutes, and tell the reception, who will then give you directions to the nearest parking garage. You can pay the parking fee when you check in.

Getting to the hotel

There are several transportation options for getting here, but we reccommend taking the train since we are located right next to Gothenburg Central Station. If you'd prefer to take a bus, you'll find a bus stop right outside the hotel next to the central station. If you are arriving by plane, the easiest option is to take the airport bus, which will get you to us in roughly 25 minutes. If you are planning to arrive by car, please park before you check in to reduce the traffic in and around the reception.

Gym

At Skönhetsfabriken (The Beauty Factory) you will find a well-equipped gym with top quality machinery made by the Italian company Technogym, for fitness, strength and cardio workouts. The running machines and bikes have screens that allow you to use the internet and watch TV. Hotel guests enjoy free access to the gym all day.

Hotel guests are welcome to use the gym every day from 6am - 10pm.

Rooftop Pool & Terrace

A rooftop hideaway – a fantastic location at the top of the tower, 13 floors and 48 meters up into the Gothenburg sky!

Every day 9am – 9pm

Prices:

0-3 years: free
3-15 years: 95 SEK
Adult hotel guests: 275 SEK.
Entry includes use of a bathrobe. Slippers are available for purchase in the reception for 65 SEK.

Children are welcome to swim in the company of a guardian until 3pm. After this time, please note that the pool area is for adults only. Teenagers aged between 16-18 are welcome to swim at all times when accompanied by an parent or guardian.

Please book your pool slot as per the email sent out by the hotel a few days before your arrival or directly via the reception.
The pool can only be booked by hotel guests.

Laundry service

Wish you could travel with less luggage? Problem solved – we have a laundry service at the hotel! Leave your laundry at reception before 9am and you'll get it back the same day. If you're running late, we also offer an express laundry service for a fee.

Pet friendly

Bring along your best friend! Pets are more than welcome at our hotel, and can stay with you in your room for 300 SEK per stay, or 400 SEK per stay for two pets or more. Guide dogs are exempt of charges, but please make sure to bring the required certification. You should also contact us when you book your stay so that we can reserve a pet-friendly room for you.
