Clarion Collection® Hotel Temperance

Very friendly and helpful staff,the hotel has very pretty corners and decoration. There is a nice bar in the back of the entrance,where you can have a nice drink.breakfast,fika and dinner is included in the price

I enjoyed my stay, the room was comfortable, compact but cosy. I had a good nights sleep and the shower was hot and powerful. Really Good Breakfast, the 3 course evening meal in the evening, did the job and I left happy. I will be returning to this hotel.

I got the room 320 is tiny as hell, the bed occupied the hole room literally wall to wall. And the bathroom was insultingly small. The sink inside of the shower area. It looks like the stuffed a “room” in a closet

I had actually booked a stay in another hotel, but upon arriving to a room which was very different to the photos.. I luckily found the Clarion Collection Hotel! Check in was prompt and friendly and I had arrived as the complimentary evening meal was being served. Really tasty and had a mixture of things from a small buffet. The hotel has a cosy Hygge vibe, with my single room having a high ceiling and enough space for one person. Recommend if you're in Malmo!

I don't think there is a better location for staying in Malmö, and it shows as Temperance is far from the only hotel within a few blocks. Right in the historical center with bars and restaurants everywhere but still on a quiet street, a short walk from the central train station and canal and walking distance to the old seaport area, Turning Torso and the nearest beach, what more can you ask for? Beautiful old building, a supermarket across the street and a shopping mall nearby? Free and rather good wifi? Buffet dinner included? You got it. So why only a 3* rating? Well, there isn't enough staff to keep up with demand and we had to ask for coffee, water and food in the restaurant many times as they didn't have time to notice it had run out. Also the first room we were given was facing the inner yard and unbearably hot, the airconditioning didn't work so you could barely breathe. To their credit we were given a different room directly when we complained, just before midnight, and the other room - on 3rd floor towards a courtyard and some buildings - didn't have this problem and was rather nice so overall we enjoyed our 3 day stay. But there is clearly room for improvement.
