Nordic Light Hotel

We had a very enjoyable three night stay at the Nordic Light Hotel during our city break to Stockholm. The hotel is extremely well situated, being both very close to the central train station, for the Arlanda Express, and within easy walking distance of the main tourist sites, and the old town around Gamla Stan. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and provided an extensive breakfast with plenty of variety to accommodate most tastes. Finally, the staff were very obliging, and my experience was that the quality of customer service was really excellent. We would certainly recommend the hotel for a break in Stockholm.

Stayed here for two nights. Location is perfect and very central, the room was clean and fresh but very small and basic. The staff and service were friendly and helpful. Overall clean and good place to stay. Breakfast was tasty and the service attentive.

Unbeatable for location!!! You literally step off the Arlanda express from the airport and that's right where the hotel entrance is - possibly 1 minute walk! We loved our stay here in April for 4 days/3 nights. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and nice. When we asked for something they immediately came to our help and sorted everything out to our fullest satisfaction. Do yourself a favour and do not skip the hotel breakfast - the buffet was fantastic - absolutely fabulous choices and wonderful fresh quality food - we loved it so much! Definitely enough for all appetites to choose from amazing selections. The room was smallish, but brilliantly designed and very smartly finish in high quality woodwork. There are a fridge, a safe, hair dryer, ironing board & iron, magazine rack, umbrella, toiletries, slippers and tea making facilities etc. The main bed was very comfortable and we each had 2 different size pillows to choose from. The sofa bed for our daughter was the only tiny winy point of critique as it is not comfy enough and the mattress is too thin to not feel all the structures of the bed frame in your back. This could easily be sorted out with a proper mattress topper - so maybe a good idea for the future for the hotel to think about? Bathroom was beautifully designed as well and very smart. Toiletries were beautifully fragranced, possibly a bit intense as scent for all 3 shower products was rose - that's a bit heavy on the nose if you do not love rose. The hotel has lovely and inviting communal spaces in the lobby, a perfectly furnished gym and very well equipped rooms, a bar and restaurant and even lends you an umbrella if it happens to rain. Just take the one from your room or ask at the front desk. Service was excellent, helpfulness unsurpassed and the location is simply brilliant. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop, next to it is Arlanda Express and tube plus main train station, buses, restaurants, bars, cafes, shops....easy walking distance to a bunch of sights as well - no wish left unfulfilled! We would warmly recommend this hotel and will most definitely return on our next visit to this beautiful city! Many thanks to all the staff at the Nordic Light Hotel.

Great stylish hotel in super convenient location (next to the Central Station ) yet very quiet once inside your comfortable room. Very friendly helpful staff and an amazing breakfast buffet and a nice well stocked bar. We’ll definitely be back!

Cool interior style, perfect location close to Arlanda express, friendly and welcoming staff. Good quality soaps, lotion, shampoo etc (grown alchemist) is a huge plus, too. The hotel is suitable also for business travelling (eg easy to get taxi, quiet rooms).
