Clarion Collection® Hotel Uman

We were here for one night in July. There's only one negative to report and that is no air conditioning. This is probably not an issue for 50 weeks per year but we could have used it that night. The dinner included in the hotel's price was surprisingly good and we're very glad we had it. Breakfast was also rather impressive. The room was large and clean, although a little old-looking.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. One night going North and 2 nights going back South. On all the days , we had a very good afternoon "fika" (included) with do-it-yourself crispy waffles, pepparkakor and additional "lussekatter " during Lucia Day. The room they gave us upon check-in was exactly as we requested in advance, near reception and first floor. Of course we asked for the same room the next time around. The room was fresh and had extra pillows. The hotel had free coffee and tea 24/7 so we did not miss the lacking tea kettle in the room. It was winter so we did not miss a fridge as well, as we had our car serving as fridge. The included dinners every night were all very good.This is a hotel where you can forget things in the room and feel secure. We forgot a sweater but they kept it for us until our return trip. We had a big miss in parking which costed us almost as much as one hotel night. Be careful to read all signs on the streets in the vicinity of the hotel. They have special rules on odd and even nights.

Very cozy experience, open fire in the lobby and a lot of extra facilities for meetings etc. Sauna and gym available, great staff and comfortable room. Sadly not a lot of options for vegans for breakfast/dinner but otherwise great!

Perfect getaway weekend, everything was so good, food, service, even the showergel and soap was good. Location of the hotel was near to everything. I have been to this hotel 8-9 times, and it is very comfortable.

Nice hotel in the heart of Umeå. Rooms were spacious and clean. Evening buffet was a nice addition to the room and it saved our first night when arriving pretty late. Some traffic noise came from the street but it did not really bother us.
