24-30 June 2024

Pride is one of the biggest and most important festivals in the Nordics, and each year more than 100,000 people gather in Finland’s beautiful capital to celebrate love and the right to be whoever you are! There should be room for all – not just at Strawberry, but also in society at large! Strawberry fully supports the Pride message, and has been a proud main sponsor of Helsinki Pride for many years.

We encourage everyone to join in the festivities during Pride Week, while also showing support throughout the rest of the year. Party, fun, glitter and rainbows are a fabulous way to celebrate just how far we’ve come, but in order to reach the goal of universal inclusion, acceptance and equal rights for all, we have to carry on working to promote greater understanding. Our Pride flags are always held high in support of this important movement.

What's up in Helsinki?

Be part of Finland's biggest human rights manifestation and cultural celebration! This year's theme is Peace & Hope. All societies and individuals have the right to live in peace, both in their surroundings and in their inner lives. And hope is what you need when peace seems impossible. Helsinki Pride 2024 is thus sounding a horn for peace and fundamental human rights in all societies. It is opening doors to spread hope during these challenging times.

You can look forward to a number of thought-provoking workshops and vibrant events throughout Helsinki Pride Week. Here at Strawberry, we're extra excited about the following:

Pride Parade – 29 June 2024

The Pride Parade held on Saturday is the undisputed highlight of Helsinki Pride Week! Commencing at 1pm in the Senate Square, the parade will bring together more than 100,000 people, dancing and marching through the city before reaching the Kaivopusto Park, where the main festivities ensue!

Pride House – open all week

We're delighted to announce that this year's Pride House is situated at one of our own hotels, the fabulous Hobo Helsinki! The Pride House is the main hub during Pride Week, hosting numerous panel discussions, seminars, workshops and other events! It's the ideal place to learn and develop! Come and hang out with us at Pride House, which is always open to everyone!
