Quality Hotel™ Grand, Borås

I did not consider to give this hotel a 4 star at all, until our second night, when we weee hosted by the the girl in the reception called Gina. First we were disappointed from our first night but when we shared our disappointment with her she definitely made up for it by giving us a much better room for our second night while at the same time being very friendly and understating. I just want to say to you Gina that you are doing exactly what the job requires someone to do and thanks for your service.

it gets 3 out of 10 due to following: Room was cold. To few tv channels. The big square with lights over the breakfast table, where you take butter and bread was to far out so I banged my head in it and got a serious bump and headace. Really bad planning.

Perfect location to stay one night on your way through Sweden. It’s located right in central Borås and easy to find. Not many free parking spaces though. Rooms are clean but quite small. Staff is nice and the breakfast had many different varieties.

The rooms need a bit of upgrading. Especially the bathroom. The shower wall had seen its better days. It was defective (could not be closed) and the entire lower part of the shower wall was shielded by ingrown lime stains. The bathroom could have been better cleaned, but it was also a small, easy-to-clean bathroom with tiles around the washbasin, etc .. But will probably come back anyway. Very nice and good service, breakfast was good and the beds comfortable. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Centrally and nicely located by the river with outdoor restaurants close by, a beautiful green park across the river with a large playground + mini golf + kiosk. Parking and bathhouse close by. RECOMMENDED!

This hotel is under renovation, but we didn't notice anything that disrupted our stay while we were there. We got a room on a high floor with a great view over Viskan. The bathroom is large and the room is a decent size. I loved the comforters on the bed. The breakfast selection was huge and delicious! The only thing I was not completely satisfied with was that the beds were a bit too hard for my liking, but I've noticed this is a common thing in Swedish hotel rooms. The comforter was super comfy and warm, though :) and the room was a comfortable temperature. Will definitely stay again next time we visit!
