Christmas Buffet
From 20 November, we invite you to enjoy a traditional Norwegian Christmas buffet featuring hot festive dishes, cold selections and desserts. Enjoy as much as you like and take your time around the table before the evening continues with a DJ at Taket, our rooftop bar.
Our shared Christmas buffet is perfect for both small and large groups. If you prefer a more private celebration, you can also book a separate function room.

Christmas Buffet + Show at Blå Grotte
Looking to combine your Christmas party with some entertainment? Quality Hotel™ Fredrikstad is located right next to Blå Grotte, making it easy to start the evening with a Christmas buffet at our hotel before heading next door for a show or concert.
In 2026, you can combine your Christmas party with performances by Bård Tufte Johansen on 21 November, Ylvis & Calle on 25 November, or a Christmas concert with Odd René Andersen on 28 November. Afterwards, the evening can continue at Taket, our rooftop bar.

Christmas Lunch
Christmas celebrations don't have to wait until the evening. From 23 November to 18 December, we serve Christmas lunch Monday to Friday, from 11:30 to 14:00.
Our buffet features traditional Norwegian Christmas dishes, including locally sourced pork ribs from Rakkestad, Christmas sausages, Norwegian meatballs and classic festive sides, followed by traditional rice cream dessert with marinated forest berries.
It's a lovely way to thank your employees for the year, invite clients or suppliers to lunch, or combine your final meeting of the year with some festive cheer.

Family Christmas Buffet
On Sunday 6 December, we invite the whole family to join us for a festive Christmas buffet. We'll be serving a generous selection of traditional hot and cold Christmas dishes, and you're welcome to help yourself as many times as you like.
A lovely way to enjoy the festive season with good food and quality time together.

New Year's Eve at Quality Hotel Fredrikstad
Once Christmas is over, we invite you to end the year with a special evening in the heart of Fredrikstad. New Year's Eve begins with a four-course dinner in Diamanten before the celebration moves upstairs to Taket, where a DJ, city views and a countdown to midnight await.
The menu features dishes including scallops, wild mushrooms, venison sirloin and chocolate.
