WeCare
Sustainability at Strawberry
We want to create great hotel experiences while also addressing our impact on the environment and people. This includes areas such as emissions, resource use, diversity and inclusion – an approach we call WeCare. Read more about our goals, initiatives and results.
Our work for the environment
Travelling leaves a footprint. We want to do what we can to reduce it – and as part of this, the operations at almost all our hotels are certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. We invest in solutions to reduce energy and water consumption and food waste, and work with responsible suppliers. We have already done a lot – but there is always Room for Change.
Our work for people
At Strawberry you should always feel welcome and valued – no matter who you are. Our ambition is to be a market leader in diversity and inclusion, because different backgrounds and perspectives create smarter, more creative solutions for everyone. Our door is open, no matter who you are or who you love. Strawberry has Room for All.

Policies & Guidelines
As a member of Ethical Trade Norway, we are committed to actively carrying out due diligence for responsible business conduct. This is a risk-based approach designed to respect and protect people, communities and the environment – both within our own operations and throughout the entire supply chain. We expect our suppliers and partners to follow the same approach.
Åpenhetsloven (the Norwegian Transparency Act)
Do you have questions about how we work with fundamental human rights and decent working conditions? Don’t hesitate to ask us! The Transparency Act, which entered into force on 1 July 2022 in Norway, obliges Strawberry to be transparent about this work. We carry out due diligence assessments in our supply chain, report on this work annually, and respond to enquiries. Read more in our statements from 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022.
To provide you with the best possible answers, we kindly ask you to be specific in your request. We will respond within three weeks. Send us your question here: apenhetsloven@strawberry.no
WeCare
People, Planet & Profit
WeCare is the name of our sustainability work, founded on three core values: People, Planet, Profit. This is our approach to business ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance).
People
At the heart of our culture is people. We have two strategic focus areas: diversity and development.
Planet
Our goal is to reduce emissions from our operations by at least 90% by 2030.
Profit
We believe that every penny earned in an ethical and responsible way is worth more.
Channel for whistleblowing
Our whistleblowing channel gives employees, contract staff, guests and partners the chance to report suspicions of illegal activities and violations of our ethical guidelines.
Our whistleblowing channel allows people reporting an alleged wrongdoing to remain anonymous if preferred. This anonymity is guaranteed by PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), our independent channel supplier.
The form should only be used to report suspected illegal or wrongful activities. If you have any feedback about hotel rooms, cleaning, services or similar, please share your thoughts with our Customer Service department.
