The hotel boasts a lovely location near the Norre Katts Park in the beautiful city of Halmstad, a popular holiday destination. It's easy to explore Halmstad on foot, and the hotel is just under 20 minutes' walk away from Halmstad Central Station. Go ahead and have a dip in the sea before watching the sunset on Tylösand Beach, one of Sweden's finest beaches, just 15 minutes' drive from the hotel. You can also explore the cultural scene at the Halland Art Museum and Halmstad Castle, or walk around the city centre at Stora Torget with its wonderful market square and outdoor eateries. If you're looking for some family-friendly activities, we recommend you to head to Halmstad Adventure Land, about 6 minutes' drive from the hotel.

You'll feel like you're coming home as soon as you step in to the hotel! Feel the warm embrace of the unique atmosphere with a rich history ingrained in the walls! The building has been home to numerous different businesses over the years, including a market hall, a cinema, a cooperage, a sports shop and now a hotel! There are still plenty of clues from the past such as a beautifully preserved original ceiling dating back to the early 20th-century. Guests can look forward to breakfast each morning, as well as an afternoon fika, and dinner with soup, salad and a main course every day – all included in your room rate! If you're planning an event, we have a number of meeting rooms that are suitable for small gatherings. If you fancy a workout, go ahead and work up a sweat in the hotel gym. Those arriving by car can park here at the hotel, but please note that fees apply.
