Clarion Hotel® Stockholm

Great location, friendly staff, very comfy beds and pillows. At first glance breakfast seems a little chaotic but was actually very good. Always enough seats, they never ran out of food and there was an amazing selection. The quality of the food was excellent. Bar had a great vibe and super friendly reception staff. Cannot fault it.

A friend and I booked this hotel for a couple of nights and loved it. The location was perfect with some nice cafes and restaurants close by and transport was really easy to get to other parts of the city. The hotel restaurant also looked nice although we were only in Sweden for two nights and wanted some traditional food rather than food we could get at home. The hotel smelt lovely and was clean, friendly and inviting. All the staff were helpful but the lady at breakfast and who was also offering Fika (Mimmi) was just wonderful and a real asset to the hotel. Her energy and enthusiasm can't be easily matched! The spa was an added bonus and although it wasn't free, it was quite a small charge for the experience. It's not opened every day though! I'd definitely come back but would make sure I timed it around the spa opening! The rooms were clean and comfortable. We booked in advance so the price was really good. We really couldn't fault it at all.

The location of the hotel was very good, transportation was very easy. The view from the room was quite nice. There was a rich breakfast menu, I should mention that it was very crowded on weekends. The staff was very attentive, I would especially like to thank Mimi from the welcome team for her care and attention. The room was quite narrow, when you put an extra bed for the child, there is almost no space left. The equipment used in the room such as air conditioner, iron etc. were really old. The iron was not working. Although the air conditioner had a control unit, it was not functional.

A twin room is very small for two people and very minimalist, but the hospitality is remarkable! We came here with the company for only 2 nights, but literally all the staff were extremely friendly, not most, but all. From the front office to the kitchen, this is how customer-service should be: with genuine friendliness and willingness to adopt suggestions by guests. With the company we often go to the same hotels in our country, and despite averaging in some hotels 3 overnight stays per month with 35 people, half of the staff can barely force even a faked smile. Special shout-outs to main chef Rolando Barrios and his kitchen team, Samuel, Nina and Bryan.

Nice hotel that’s decent value for money. The breakfast is very good and the staff on front desk very helpful. It’s a little bit dated and tiered. We also ate the set lunch in the restaurant that was very tasty. We used the spa also and paid extra, which was fine. It’s not too far to walk into central Stockholm and we found it a good base for our weekend.
