Open Trot 2026 - information and activities

One of Sweden's largest trotting weekends

Sundsvall Open Trot is arranged at Bergsåker's trotting track in Sundsvall. In 2026, the event will also celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The competition weekend begins on Friday with trotting competitions and activities for visitors, active people and companies. On Saturday, the Sundsvall Open Trot is decided, which attracts some of the country's top horses, jockeys and trainers to Bergsåker. During the day, thousands of visitors gather to experience the competitions, meet friends and colleagues and take part in the special atmosphere that has made Sundsvall Open Trot a tradition for many.

Regardless of whether you are interested in trotting or are visiting the event for the experience in general, a weekend filled with sport, community and a festive atmosphere awaits.

On Saturday, direct buses go to Bergsåker and pick you up right outside the hotel – it doesn't get any easier than that.

Trotting Brunch

Gather the gang, talk tactics and get ready for the races! Welcome to the trotting brunch at restaurant q.bar. During the first hour of the brunch, there will be a trotting talk with a recognized tips expert, all to ensure you get the best possible energy for today's competitions. The trotting program will be on site. Don't forget to book a table!
