Frequently asked questions
What is a resort?
A resort is more than just a place to sleep – it is the destination itself. Here, you will find everything you need for a complete stay all in one place, with a focus on unique facilities, activities, culinary experiences, and relaxation in scenic surroundings.
What is the difference between a resort and a spa hotel?
A spa focuses primarily on treatments and water-based wellness, whereas a resort is a complete destination offering accommodation, culinary experiences, nature, and a wide range of activities. The word 'spa' actually means 'health through water,' which can include whirlpools, steam baths, massages, and skincare. At our resorts, you will often find a dedicated spa area, but we also offer other forms of wellbeing – whether through activities that provide deep tranquility, culinary highlights, or other experiences that nourish both body and soul.
What is included in the room rate?
This varies from resort to resort. You will see exactly what is included for your selected room type during the booking process.
Should I book spa treatments and activities before arrival?
This varies between the different resorts. Please check the specific hotel page before your arrival.
Are the resorts within Strawberry family-friendly?
Families are welcome at all our resorts. During certain periods, we have an extra focus on children and activities, such as Yasuragi Kids and specially tailored holiday stays at Copperhill Mountain Lodge and Stenungsbaden Yacht Club.
Are there any exclusive benefits for Strawberry members at the resorts?
Yes, your member benefits also apply to our resort hotels. For example, all our members get 2-for-1 on breakfast on Mondays. As a gold member, you also get 2-for-1 on spa entry. You can see all the benefits for the different membership levels here.
Are pets allowed at a resort?
This varies from hotel to hotel. Please contact the hotel directly to check their pet policy. You can read more here.
