Terms & Conditions for Spookcation 2025

1. Competition terms and conditions

1.1 Your participation

You must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
You must be registered as a resident in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, or Finland.
Employees of Strawberry may not participate in or win any of the rooms.
Participation is free of charge.
Winners are selected based on the motivations submitted.
Do not enter any sensitive information in the text field for the motivation.
You may register for each room a maximum of one time.
You can only win one of the rooms, regardless of whether you have registered for multiple.

1.2 Conditions of winning

The prize is personal and cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or other goods/services. The winner must be one of the two people staying in the room.
The hotel stay is free of charge upon winning.
The prize is valid for 2 people staying in the same room.
The stay does not qualify for earning Spenn.
The overnight stay will take place on October 31 – November 1, 2025, and cannot be changed or rebooked in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
The prize includes a hotel overnight stay, dinner, and breakfast for two people. Alcohol is not included.
Strawberry reserves the right to withdraw the prize if it is used for commercial purposes or if other terms and conditions are breached.

1.3 Transportation

For Dalen Hotel and Home Hotel Bilan, transport for two people, within the Nordic countries, is included upon winning. The winner must book and pay for the transport themselves. Strawberry will reimburse the total cost for two people with a maximum limit of 6,000 NOK/SEK, or 600 EUR. Valid receipts are presented at the reception upon arrival at the hotel and the compensation will be paid by Strawberry after the stay.
If transport is declined, Strawberry reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a new winner.
For all other hotels (Home Hotel Victoria, Home Hotel Gabelshus, Home Hotel Grand Helsingborg, Home Hotel Uman, Home Hotel Borgen Örebro & Home Hotel Katajanokka), transport is paid for by the winner.

1.4 Communication regarding the competition and Spookcation offer

We will communicate necessary information about the competition to you after your participation. This will be information such as confirmation of participation and whether you have won or not, or similar.
If you choose to participate in this competition, we may market specific Spookcation offers during the limited Spookcation period. You can choose to withdraw from the competition at any time. If you do, we will no longer send you Spookcation offers or information.
After the winner of the competition has been selected, we will inform you whether you won or not. If you did not win, we may offer you an alternative prize.
Communication and information about Spookcation offers will reach you no later than December 31, 2025. After this date, Strawberry will no longer have or send out offers linked to Spookcation 2025.

To participate in the competition, it is necessary for Strawberry to process your personal data in order to administer the competition. The legal basis for this processing is the agreement you enter into with us by participating in accordance with these terms, GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
The personal data we collect is your full name, email address, and telephone number.
Google Forms is used for administration of the competition. Read more about Google's data processing here.
As your personal data is necessary for us to administer your participation, a request to delete your data will mean you can no longer participate in the competition. You can exercise your rights by contacting customer service.
All data collected in relation to the competition will be deleted after December 31, 2025.
