The aim of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs' pilot cooperation is that international conference and meeting guests should not have to leave Finland without tasting Finnish food. Every Finnish meal offered to an international guest is an opportunity to communicate about Finnish expertise, clean ingredients, the seasons and food culture. Telling the story behind the food turns a meal into a memorable experience and builds a positive image of Finland.

As a result of the collaboration, some of Strawberry's hotels have created conference catering for international conference guests, celebrating Finnish food culture. Strawberry's over 250 hotels operate in accordance with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel environmental criteria by emphasizing local food, using WWF green list fish, favoring Finnish seasonal ingredients, and minimizing food waste and disposable materials.
