Gothenburg's Best Second hand Shop
Gothenburg is known for great shopping, and for its second hand shops in particular. There are many such shops to choose from, all neatly arranged and well sorted. And you're just as likely to snap up a bargain on a Ganni dress as to find that '80s Patagonia fleece you've been searching for.
1. Pop-Boutique
Address: Magasingatan 22
In this popular street, you'll find several cool vintage shops, as well as an area with food trucks and outdoor seating in the sun.
Pop-Boutique stocks everything from hats, bags, clothes, and sunglasses to jewellery.
The shop is tidy and well organised, both by garment and colour - making it easy to browse for gems and treasures.
If you're looking for '70s dresses, the perfect high waist jeans, or a cool fleece – this is the place to go.
2. Ragtime
Address: Magasingatan 15
Just a few steps away from Pop-Boutique lies Ragtime, which consists of Ragtime Herr and Miss Ragtime. At the former, you'll find menswear, including blazers, T-shirts, Vans, and Birkenstocks – just to name a few. Here, people can drop off their branded clothes or vintage items for sale, providing plenty of opportunities for great buys. Next door is Miss Ragtime, where you can find trendy brands like Munthe, Stine Goya, Sophie by Sophie, and Baum und Pferdgarten.
3. APLACE
Address: Magasingatan 20
Simply cross the street from Ragtime and enter APLACE. The shop is a delightful mix of interior design, art, clothing, and jewellery. It's hard not to swipe your card here. The shop mainly offers newitems from well-known brands like Rodebjer, Hope, Róhe, and Stina Goye. But in a small corner, you'll find APLACE second hand, where you can find great deals on stylish pieces from top brands. We fell for a Ganni dress and a Nike cap.

4. Beyond Retro
Address: Arkaden
If you really want to dive into the clothing racks, head to Beyond Retro, one of the biggest second hand shops in Gothenburg. Here, you'll find '90s sportswear, Levi's jeans, T-shirts with cool prints... just about anything you might be looking for if this is your style.
5. Fabriken
Address: Ekedalsgatan 16
A lovely place located in the cosy and relaxed neighbourhood of Majorna – close to Slottsskogen. At Fabriken, you'll find Nordic classics from the '50s and '60s, as well as furniture, ceramics, art, and knick-knacks.
6. Erikshjälpen
Address: Rosenlundsgatan 8
Erikshjälpen can be found all over Sweden and has three locations in Gothenburg. Strawberry visited the one in Rosenlundsgatan, a shop that is very well organised. It gets a big plus for having separate sections for kitchen items, children's items, and clothing.
7. Sneakershyllan
Address: Kungsgatan 38
In the heart of Gothenburg's shopping area is Sneakershyllan, a place for those particularly interested in trainers. This is the place for collectors (we found the collectable Jordan 1 Retro High Fragment from 2014 in its original box...), or for those who want classic Nike, Vans, or colourful sneakers that stand out or for those who love old school in general. Here, you'll find shoes for men, women, and children.
