The story behind the hotel
Dating back to 1903, Home Hotel Jugend is a grand Art Nouveau stone castle and a staple on Helsinki's famed ghost tours. According to staff and former guests alike, several spirits still linger within its walls. Unexplained lights flicker in the cellar restaurant, phantom children have been seen playing, and kitchen staff on the second floor often report feeling a gentle, comforting hand on their shoulder late at night.
Our winners will stay in the hotel's most infamous space: the isolated tower room perched above the rest of the property. Guests here frequently report a chilling presence and the unmistakable sound of heavy footsteps echoing up the stairs right behind them—with no one in sight.
Now, you and a friend have the chance to win an exclusive stay this Halloween... if you're brave enough to check into the castle tower.
