Conference hotels and meeting rooms at Bergen Airport, Flesland

Bergen Airport offers a practical setting for meetings in western Norway, where proximity to the terminal, strong conference capacity and straightforward local logistics support events at scale.

A major meeting hub on the Norwegian west coast

Bergen Airport plays a distinct role in the region’s meeting landscape. The airport area stands out for capacity, convenience and the ability to bring larger groups together with minimal friction.
For conference planners, that matters from the outset. Bergen Airport connects western Norway with key domestic routes and a range of Nordic and European destinations, while the light rail and airport buses link the airport with Bergen city centre in around thirty minutes. This makes it easier to gather delegates efficiently, whether the event is regional, national or international.
The airport area is also built around business travel. With conference hotels close to the terminal and additional capacity nearby, organisers can reduce transfer time, simplify arrivals and keep the programme focused from the moment delegates land.

Conference venue and meeting facilities

Conference hotels at Bergen Airport provide professional meeting environments suited to seminars, training sessions, workshops and larger conferences with accommodation. Strawberry has several conference hotels at Bergen Airport, including properties close to the terminal as well as larger venues a short distance away, giving planners flexibility across different event formats.
Meeting rooms are designed to support different ways of working, from presentations and panel sessions to smaller discussions and group work. Flexible layouts, breakout areas and well-equipped AV solutions support the flow of the programme, while hybrid meetings can be arranged when remote participation is part of the format.
Venues in the area can support large groups, making the destination relevant for congresses, corporate events, launch programmes and multi-day gatherings where scale, accommodation and efficient logistics need to work together.

Corporate events and programme opportunities

Bergen Airport also works well for corporate events, evening programmes and larger social formats connected to the conference agenda. Banquets, hosted dinners and award evenings can be integrated into the programme in ways that give the event a stronger shared rhythm beyond the meeting room.
For many groups, these moments matter just as much as the formal sessions. A well-planned dinner, an awards ceremony or a larger evening gathering can create recognition, conversation and a sense of occasion that carries through the rest of the programme.
For dining and informal gatherings, planners can also draw on the wider selection of restaurants available in Bergen.
For organisers planning conferences or corporate events in western Norway, Bergen Airport offers a meeting destination where large-scale capacity, close airport access and professional conference infrastructure support efficient programmes with room to grow.
