In the winter, the area around Drammen is perfect for both cross-country and downhill skiing, and there are two ski resorts, Haukås and Drammen Skisenter, just 10 minutes away. You’ll find plenty to do in and around Drammen including golf courses, biking trails, weight training at Tuftepark, floating saunas, SUP and canoe rental, as well as many beautiful beaches to explore.

Guests can look forward to a wonderful stay in a unique historic and cultural setting here in Drammen. The building dates back to the 17th century, when Strømsø was one of Norway's most important ports. The walls of the hotel are adorned with art by local artists and exhibits that depict the city's maritime history. The hotel serves breakfast, afternoon fika and dinner as part of an overnight stay, and there are lots of cosy seating areas for guests to relax and socialise.
