How far is the hotel from the Norwegian Silver Mines, and can you help book a mine tour?
The Norwegian Mining Museum complex is just a short 5-minute walk from the hotel. The Silver Mines (Sølvgruvene) at Saggrenda are roughly a 10-minute drive. The mine train tour takes you 342 metres underground and lasts about 1.5 hours. Note that children under 3 are not permitted inside the mines. Contact reception for help with bookings and transport.
Is there a restaurant at the hotel, and do you need to book a table?
Yes – The Social Bar & Bistro serves classic bistro dishes with a modern twist, suitable for casual meals and family dinners alike. The restaurant is also open to non-guests. We recommend booking a table in advance during busy periods, especially in summer and around the Jazz Festival.
