This is the way to offer hospitality. With absolutely nothing. A room and a bathroom. That is your lot. No room for luggage or anything else no staff interaction or opportunities to impress. Poorly designed, poor delivery. Would never recommend, in fact would advise a friend to avoid. How can a hotel company get it more wrong? It is all about experience nowadays not just a box to sleep in. And still quite high price.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Friendly and smooth check in and out. Otherwise no contact had with staff. Rooms only get cleaned every 4 days. Access to roof top terrace on 9th floor with great view of the city. Room itself was spacious and shower was great.

I have never slept in a hotel that is so poorly insulated, the neighbors are extremely noisy and we can hear them as if they were in our room because the place is so poorly insulated. we don't know how to contact anyone, no help is available for us... (apart from that, the water in the shower is lukewarm even though it is summer, how can I get hot water?)

Ok for budget travelers staying one or two days. I stayed for nights: the room is so small that the only place for the suitcase is on the bed. Nothing to store or place things. The bathroom was smelly and super tiny. Every time you showered you set the floor under water. The room wasn’t cleaned once in four days nor did they change the towel - you need it soak up the water from the floor. On the positive side: great location, friendly staff.

I had a very lovely stay at Comfort Hotel Xpress! The room was small, but cozy. There wasn't very much room to move around, but I was traveling solo. My one complaint is that there was no seating in the room, and there was not sufficient luggage storage (only 1 drawer under the bed, and a luggage bench with a drawer against the wall), but I travel with just a small backpack so I made it work for a night! Also, no hangers in the room, which would have been appreciated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with two big fluffy duvets and comfortable pillows. The mattress was perfect firmness and I slept very soundly! The room had large blackout curtains. There was a massive flatscreen tv in the room with about 20 or so channels (several in English also!). The bathroom was large and spacious - modern toilet with strong flush, and large walk-in glass door shower. Water pressure and temperature were excellent! 2 hand towels and 2 large bath towels were provided, hand soap, shower gel, and ample toilet paper. There was a hair dryer in the room as well. Air conditioning was excellent in the room and the wifi was excellent (it was an open network though). Check-in was efficient and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel offers free secure luggage storage, breakfast for an additional cost (I left early so I cannot comment on this service), and an on site coffee shop which sells drinks and sandwiches. The hotel also has a self-service laundrette (washing machine and dryer), common lounge area and a gym on site. Other than these services existing, I cannot comment, as I was only here for one night. Location was excellent - 15 to 20 minutes by walking to all major sightseeing attractions, 10 minutes to Oslo Central Station, a medium sized supermarket just down the street, and many restaurants and cafes within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. Overall, a great stay! Would stay again! I had a very lovely night's rest.
