Behind the facade of Home Hotel Victoria lie strange and unsettling tales. Over the years, many guests have felt a presence in their rooms – some even claim someone sat down on the edge of their bed.
The house was built in 1882 by Ebba Ramsay, a social worker who ran a home for children with epilepsy and learning disabilities. She also opened an alcohol-free tavern in the cellar. Many believe she never truly left, and today Room 426 is known as the hotel’s most haunted.
According to hotel staff, Ebba is described as calm and kind. Now you have the chance to check into the very room, furnished as it was in 1882. There, Ebba’s story awaits – and perhaps even a meeting with her herself.
