Staying at a Hotel with Your Dog
Bring your four-legged friend along for the journey! At Strawberry, pets are more than welcome. Almost all of our Comfort Hotel™, Quality Hotel™, Clarion Hotel® and Home Hotel properties offer dedicated rooms designed for guests travelling with dogs. If you’re planning to stay at one of our independent hotels, please contact the hotel directly to check their pet policy.
It’s important to let the hotel know in advance that you’ll be bringing your pet so we can ensure you get a pet-friendly room. A small additional fee applies for pets, with prices varying depending on the number of animals you’re travelling with. You can see all rates here. If you’re travelling with a guide dog and can provide valid documentation, there is no extra charge.
How to Book
You can easily add extras to your booking before your stay. Simply log in on our website or app, go to My Bookings, select your reservation and click on “Extras” to see which options are available. If you’re not a member, you can still find your booking by entering your booking number and name on the Find Your Booking page. Please note that available extras may vary depending on the hotel.
If you’re travelling with your dog, we recommend contacting the hotel directly by phone or email at the time of booking to ensure you’re allocated a pet-friendly room.

Can I bring my dog to the hotel?
Yes, we love dogs here at Strawberry. Almost all hotels within Comfort Hotel™, Quality Hotel™, Clarion Hotel® and Home Hotel have a number of pet-friendly rooms. If you are planning to stay at one of our independent hotels you will need to contact the hotel directly since they may have different rules concerning pets.
All hotels must be notified in advance if you are planning to bring a pet, so that they can reserve a pet-friendly room for you. The additional fee for dogs staying with you in your room is generally 300 SEK/NOK/DKK or 30 EUR per stay. If you have two pets or more the price is 400 SEK/NOK/DKK or 40 EUR. A few of our hotels may have different prices.
Guide dogs are welcome to stay for free, but make sure that you bring the required certification.
Can I book a pet-friendly room online?
Unfortunately not. Our hotels have limited numbers of pet-friendly rooms that permit dogs and some other pets. You will have to check availability by contacting the respective hotel. You can then proceed and make a reservation on our website or via our app.
What pets can I bring to the hotel?
Most hotels welcome dogs. If you have another kind of pet, or a large number of dogs, you should contact the hotel to ask them about their specific pet policy. All hotels are different and may not be able to accommodate all kinds of animals, so the rules may differ.
What are the guidelines for those with guide dogs or personal attendants?
Personal attendants and guide dogs are more than welcome! You will not be charged for personal attendants or guide dogs staying with you in your room as long as you bring the required certification.
