WeCare

Sustainability at Strawberry

Your stay should have less impact on the world – while still being good for you. That’s why we work to cut emissions, care for people and ensure responsible operations – without affecting a smooth guest experience. Read about our sustainability work, which we call WeCare.

We care about the environment

Travelling leaves a footprint. We do what we can to reduce it. We invest in solutions that make our buildings more climate-smart, cut energy and water consumption, reduce food waste and work with responsible suppliers. We have achieved a lot – but we are not there yet. There is always Room for Change.

We care about people

At Strawberry you should always feel welcome and valued – no matter who you are. Our ambition is to be a market leader in diversity and inclusion, because different backgrounds and perspectives create smarter, more creative solutions for everyone. Our door is open, no matter who you are or who you love. Strawberry has Room for All.

Policies & Guidelines

As a member of Ethical Trade Norway, we are committed to actively carrying out due diligence for responsible business conduct. This is a risk-based approach designed to respect and protect people, communities and the environment – both within our own operations and throughout the entire supply chain. We expect our suppliers and partners to follow the same approach.

Åpenhetsloven (the Norwegian Transparency Act)

Do you have questions about how we work with fundamental human rights and decent working conditions? Don’t hesitate to ask us! The Transparency Act, which entered into force on 1 July 2022 in Norway, obliges Strawberry to be transparent about this work. We carry out due diligence assessments in our supply chain, report on this work annually, and respond to enquiries. Read more in our statements from 2022, 2023, and 2024.

To provide you with the best possible answers, we kindly ask you to be specific in your request. We will respond within three weeks. Send us your question here: apenhetsloven@choice.no
