Google Wallet
Use your Android phone as your hotel key
Google Wallet
At selected Strawberry hotels, you can add your room key to Google Wallet and use your Android phone to open your door and access the hotel lifts. There is no need to search for a physical key card – simply hold your phone near the reader.
What is a hotel key in Google Wallet?
A hotel key in Google Wallet is a digital alternative to a physical key card. Once you have added it to your Wallet and checked in, you can use your phone to access your room and the relevant hotel lifts throughout your stay.
You do not need to open an app or unlock your phone at the door. Simply wake the phone and hold it near the card reader.
How to use your hotel key
Add the room key to Google Wallet before or during your stay. It will be activated automatically once you have checked in.
To unlock your room or activate the lift, wake your phone and hold it near the reader.
One less thing to keep track of
A digital hotel key means you have one less card to carry – and one less thing to misplace. Since your phone is likely to be close at hand throughout your stay, getting into your room becomes a natural part of using a device you already carry.
