1. Lund Cathedral

Lund Cathedral stands at the heart of the city and is one of its most recognisable landmarks. More than 900 years old, it is also Sweden’s most visited church, and with its imposing towers, it’s hard to miss. Step inside to explore the atmospheric crypt and the impressive astronomical clock. For children, the story of the giant Finn – said to have built the cathedral and whose statue can be found in the crypt – is often a highlight.

2. Botaniska trädgården

Just a short walk from the cathedral, you’ll find the Botanical Garden (Botaniska trädgården) – an easy place to slow the pace for a while. Centrally located within walking distance of the station, it combines a water park and swimming complex, with lap pools, diving platforms up to ten metres and facilities suited to all ages. Switch between the rush of the water slides and the swirling current channel, then wind down in the warm spa pools.

4. Kulturen i Lund

Close to Lund Central Station, you’ll find Kulturen i Lund – an open-air museum where history is brought to life.
